Believe in Blue

Posted on: December 2nd, 2014

Blue is the color for foster care awareness for our mission is to cover Connecticut with blue to show the kids in foster care that we believe in them; we believe in their future. You can personally choose to add blue into your daily attire: a pin, blue tie, blue shoelaces, blue manicure/pedicure, even blue hair! Or, as a business, you can choose to display our Believe in Blue posters, highlight a “blue” item on your menu (coffee, muffin, cupcake, smoothie etc.), or have your staff wear blue as part of their uniform. Be creative and add blue however you’d like; the beautiful BLUE sky is the limit! If you have ideas, or need ideas, on participating- call us today! Donations are not necessary to participate; the point of this campaign is to show the kids in foster care that they are seen, heard, and cared about. (And we can have fun while doing it too!)

Thank you so much to all of our November 2014 supporters of the Believe in Blue project during National Adoption Month! If you want to join in on the fun, help us color Connecticut blue during Foster Care Awareness Month in May 2015! Contact bkilfeather@criinc.org if you’re interested in participating!
