Training

The newest TIPS-MAPP training class is underway and we couldn’t be more excited! Conversations are flowing, comradery is building, and our trainers couldn’t be happier with the turnout. Our trainers really put their all into every session, so we have yet to set definitive dates for the next training yet, but they will be up soon! We look forward to bringing in another group of people who are eager to learn about what it takes to become a foster/adoptive parent.

Don’t worry about feeling “unprepared”. Inquiring is the first step! Our recruiter will thoroughly explain the licensing process to you and walk you through each step. At no time are your forced to consider moving forward with your license. We ask that you commit fully to the training once you’ve enrolled, however, consider it an opportunity to decide whether or not getting your license is the right step for you. It is our job to provide you with as much information as possible to help you in your decision-making process. Questions are encouraged, that’s what we’re here for!

If you’re interested in learning more about the training, and what it takes to become a foster/adoptive parent, call us today!

Keep in mind that it may take 1-2 business days for our recruiter to get back to you, she does her best to extend her search all over the State of Connecticut, in an effort to find as many homes as possible that are interested in working with children in foster care! As long as you leave your name and address in her voicemail, she will have an informational packet sent out to you within the week!
